Fully qualified Coach 4th Dan Blackbelt Peter Dunnett runs all classes himself All of his gyms have a fully matted floor area, hanging punch bags, Uppercut bags, floor to ceiling balls, free‑standing numbered punch bag, crash mats. kick shields and focus pads. All of these being a necessity to train successfully and safely in Kickboxing.

Peter is S.A.F.E registered, Child protection registered with the Amateur Martial Association, C.R.B checked and fully First Aided. Peter has also been awarded his Coaching Award from the Amateur Martial Association. This involved Peter and his Club being assessed by Mr. Kevin J Hamilton-Stewart MNASC 6th Dan Wado‑Ryu, who is the Chairman of the A.M.A Karate Technical Committee. Mr Hamilton‑ Stewart is also an EKGB qualified Instructor and EKGK qualified Assessor and A.M.A Executive Member, and has trained under Tatsu Suzuki 9th Dan whilst in Japan. It was a huge achievement for Peter to receive his Coaching Award, from such a highly qualified Assessor as Mr Hamilton‑ Stewart. The assessment involved Mr Hamilton‑Smith assessing Peter's coaching ability, the safety element of the club, the standard of his students, which Peter was highly congratulated on. All equipment was thoroughly checked as well as records and general running of the club. Mr Hamilton‑ Stewart congratulated Peter on his extremely high standard and commented on how well the club was run as a whole, and what an excellent environment for young people to train.

Combat Kickboxing Academy is a family run club with all members of the family training, and Peter's eldest Son Lewis, achieved his 1st Dan Blackbelt at the age of eleven. Peter's Wife Mandy, is also C.R.B checked, First Aided and Child Protection registered. The club also runs First Aid Courses for all members.

Peter has had over fifteen years experience in Karate and Kickboxing with over twenty five fights under his belt. He holds titles in both arts, C. S. W semi‑contact Karate Area Title, and B.K.A Full contact Southern Area Title. Peter has also represented England fighting Full Contact against Norway under the W.K.U. C.K.A is registered with the A.M.A and W.A.K.O. As well as Kickboxing, Peter teaches Self Defence, Groundwork and street techniques. Peter caters for the student who just wishes to train for fitness, confidence or small competitions, right up to the student who wishes to compete at a higher level and take part in larger shows, hosted by some of the top promoters in the country.
